GRANT SUTHERLAND – MANAGING DIRECTOR Founder of the company, Grant has over 30 years surveying experience including 12 years working in the North Sea developing deep-water oil & gas fields. He graduated from Otago University with a Bachelor of Surveying degree in 1981 and is a corporate member of the NZIS. Grant is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor and a Registered Professional Surveyor.
Grant understands the importance of getting the right people onboard, providing a great training base, developing systems & purchasing the right equipment & software. “You can’t keep your staff happy if you have the wrong tools or they aren’t sharp" he says.
He is your primary contact within the organisation and will be able to answer your queries and listen to your development plans.
Going on-site is important to Grant as it’s all too easy to sit behind a computer screen and convince yourself that you have all the information. Please feel free to ask Grant to visit your site to meet with you, appreciate your slice of heaven, and discuss your development plans.
Wade is a senior technician and joined us in 2006 after having returned from the UK where he was involved with engineering surveys of the London Underground and other large construction projects. Prior to embarking overseas Wade trained as a technician in Tauranga, performing cadastral & engineering surveys.
He is our engineering surveying specialist and we really appreciate his efforts and his ability to tackle all types of project and consistently deliver a high standard of workmanship!!
Wade has a young family and enjoys fishing and free diving in his spare time
